LOCATION
Our End of Year Concert will be held at:
SANDRINGHAM SECONDARY COLLEGE
11 Holloway Rd, Sandringham VIC 3191
DATE & TIME
Our End of Year Concert will be held on SUNDAY 14th DECEMBER at 1:30pm.
See the Concert Day Procedures below for arrival times.
All students participate in our End of Year Concert and students work on these routines each week in class, developing their skills in the process and learning the importance of rehearsal, commitment, performance techniques and teamwork.
In terms of attendance, it is very important that students do not miss any of their scheduled classes between now and concert time so they can spend their rehearsal time together to perform their routines, feel confident and look amazing! If for any reason your child will miss a number of their regular classes in Term 4, we ask that you contact reception to let us know in advance.
If there is any reason why your child will not be able to perform at the concert on the dates and times provided, please let us know so we can make amendments to the class routines involving them.
For our Main School performers, there is a Concert Fee of $65 per student, which will be added to your Term 4 direct debit on Monday 28th October.
This fee covers everything needed for a polished and professional concert experience:
- A commemorative 2025 SPARK Concert Medal
- A 2025 SPARK Performer T-Shirt
- Digital Download of our 2025 Concert Video
- All performer costs such as theatre hire, lighting, and production expenses
This keeps things simple and stress-free for families while ensuring every dancer is performance-ready and feels their absolute best on stage! 🎉
COSTUME HIRE POLICY
Costumes are HIRED from the studio and various other hire companies and MUST be returned. Hire fee is $45 per costume.
All classes except Technique classes will be participating in the concert.
All hired costumes will be taken by the SPARK team to the venue on the concert day. No students are to take home any part of their costume at any time. Please make sure your child understands that it is important that their costume goes back in the bag labelled with their name. A fee will be charged for any costumes that are missing or damaged (most damage happens from food stains).
CONCERT TSHIRT
All students receive a concert commemorative t-shirt included as part of their performers fee. You can pre-select the size you wish to receive by filling out the form below. Please see the dates to remember graphic above for the due date for these selections - anyone who has not preselected their shirt size will have their t-shirt assigned based on their age.

WEEK STARTING DECEMBER 8th
At SPARK we understand that the end of year is a busy time for families and as such we do not hold a separate rehearsal day but instead hold a Rehearsal week in normal class time! During rehearsal week, students will have full dress rehearsals and run throughs in costume.
Students need to do the following for dress rehearsal week:
Arrive 10 mins earlier for class (if possible) & be picked up 5mins after normal class finish time
Wear Dance undergarments that would be worn on concert day (see further information detailed later in "what to wear")
NO hair or makeup is required
Students will receive their Finale T-Shirts handed out in classes this week.
DROP OFF & PICK UP
On concert day, all of the students will be staying backstage with us for the duration of the concert. Students need to have their hair and makeup done and stockings on before being dropped off. Students are required to arrive between 12:30-12:45pm.
During the dropping off times, we ask that one parent/guardian comes with their child into the drop off area (you will be directed once at the venue). Students will need to know what allocated group they are in. See the CONCERT GROUPS & ORDER button below.
All students will need to be picked up from the drop off point after the show.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask us. We will ensure that we talk you through the concert day procedure again in the weeks leading up to the concert.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
If your child has any Medical Conditions that may require attention whilst in our care or are carrying any medication with them, please notify our supervisors when you sign in.

Students should arrive wearing their Concert T-Shirt and any black bottoms. Students will wear this outfit for our Finale!

Hip Hop - Plain White hip hop shoes with tan tights
Acro - No shoes, footless beige (tan) tights

UNDERWEAR
Please be aware that under stage lights, dark coloured or patterned underwear does not look good under light coloured costumes. Please make sure your child is wearing flesh coloured underwear.
HAIR
Dancers will require a middle part into bun.
You will need to use a lot of hairspray/gel and a fine tooth comb to achieve the slick look and possibly multiple elastics. Please also use an elastic the same colour as their hair. Bun net is required for buns.
Please note, for boys neat and tidy hair is all that is required. No colours or crazy hairstyles please.
MAKEUP
Stage makeup needs to be heavier than normal day makeup. Please try not to cake it on or make it look like a mask as this does not look natural on stage.
Apply make-up base. Foundation needs to be darker than what their normal shade would be. Apply pink blush to cheekbones.
Apply brown eye shadow on lid – work from the inside corner along the lash line. Apply white under the brow to highlight.
Define the eyes with black eyeliner. Use along the top and bottom lash lines and add a wing to the top lash line.
Add lots of black mascara to both top and bottom lashes.
Apply red lipstick.
Please note, boys are not required to wear makeup.
JEWELLERY AND NAIL POLISH
No Jewellery is to be worn (including earrings), please leave all jewellery at home. Also, please remove all nail polish.
WHAT TO BRING
FOOD & DRINK
In line with venue rules there is to be NO food in dressing rooms. Please bring a labelled water bottle ONLY.
PACKING CHECKLIST
